  • 4 c. long grain white rice
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cans tomato puree
  • garlic salt to taste
  • water

Directions

    Cover bottom of skillet with oil.

    Add rice to hot oil and stir until brown.

    Add onion, pepper, tomato puree and garlic salt.

    Add enough water to cover rice mixture.

    As the rice cooks, continue adding water until rice is tender.
