  • 1/2 c. sugar or more
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, halved lengthwise and sliced
  • 1 qt. dry red table wine

    Add sugar and vermouth, then stir with wooden spoon, mashing fruit slightly. Add wine
