Special Kansas Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 can peas
  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 1 c. diced green pepper
  • 1 c. minced onion
  • 1 small jar pimentos
  • 2/3 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar or substitute

Directions

    Drain canned vegetables and mix in a large mixing bowl. Combine vinegar, oil, salt and sugar.

    Mix all fresh vegetables with cooked vegetables.

    Add mixture of vinegar, oil and sugar to vegetables in bowl.

    Chill several hours or overnight before serving.

    Toss ingredients together well and drain, if desired.
