- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 1/4 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. margarine
Directions

1Combine 1 1/2 cup flour, sugar, soda, salt and yeast.

2Combine buttermilk, water and margarine.

3Heat to 120°.

4Stir well and add to dry ingredients.

5Beat at medium speed of mixer for 4 minutes. Gradually add rest of flour.

6Knead 5 to 8 minutes.

7Let rise in a greased bowl until doubled.

8Punch down, roll out and cut.

9Put in a greased pan.

10Let rise until double.

11Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.
