Spice Cake

Directions

   Blend salad oil and sugar.

   Whip in eggs.

   Stir in applesauce into creamed mixture.

   Add dry ingredients that have been sifted together.

   Bake in ungreased large tube cake pan.

   Line bottom only with circle of waxed paper.

   Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

   Cool in pan.

   May be iced with cream cheese icing.

    You can substitute canned pumpkin for the applesauce for a change.
