  • 8 apples, peeled and cored, each cut into 8 wedges
  • 1/2 c cinnamon (red) candies
  • 1 c water
  • 1/2 c sugar

Directions

    Cook candies, sugar and water together.

    When candies are melted, simmer about 12 wedges at a time

    until they are transparent.

    Transfer to a bowl and continue until all apples are done.

    Pour syrup over the apples and chill.
