Spiced fried pork

  • 4 1/2 lb boneless pork loin off the back flap of ribs
  • 1/4 cup paprika
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp granulated garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp meat tenderizer I used Adolphs with no msg
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tbsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp lite soy sauce, I used Kikkomans

    Slice the pork on a bias then into bite sized pieces.

    Mix the spices.

    Then put the pork in a bowl.

    Add the spices to the pork .

    Measure the oil and soy sauce and pour on top.

    Mix well in a bowl to coat all the meat.

    Put the coated meat into ziplock bag.

    Let marinate at least 1 1/2 hours

    Get oil hot and deep fry the pork.

    Fry in batches making sure pieces don't stick together.

    When each batch is done move to paper towels to absorb excess oil.
