- 5 lb. small tomatoes (green)
- 2 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. whole cloves
- 1 Tbsp. white mustard seed
- 4 c. white sugar
- 1 Tbsp. stick cinnamon
- 1 tsp. whole allspice
Directions

1Combine sugar, vinegar and spices; bring mixture to the boiling point and pour over tomatoes.

2Let stand 4 hours or overnight.

3Drain off liquid and cook until it coats a spoon.

4Add tomatoes and cook until clear (about 12 minutes).

5Seal in clean hot jars immediately.
