  • 4 ounces, weight Raw Walnut Halves
  • 4 teaspoons Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoons Coarse Salt
  • 18 teaspoons Ground Cloves

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with a Silpat or parchment paper.

    Combine walnuts, maple syrup, and olive oil in a medium mixing bowl, stirring to evenly coat the walnuts.

    In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the cinnamon, salt, and cloves.

    Add the spice mixture to the walnuts, stirring again to evenly distribute the spices.

    Bake until walnuts are very fragrant and toasted, about 10 minutes.
