- 3 (6 1/2 oz.) cans chopped Gorton's clams with juice
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 2 to 3 tsp. Tabasco
- grated cheese (Muenster suggested)
- paprika
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 lb. unsalted butter
- 6 slices bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 large green pepper
- 1 tsp. oregano
- Italian style bread crumbs
- Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Simmer chopped clams and lemon juice for 10 to 15 minutes (medium in microwave).

2Mix all ingredients together and gradually add Italian style bread crumbs to thicken consistency.

3Pour into large casserole dish.

4Top with grated cheese (suggestion Muenster).

5Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika.
