Spinach Casserole

  • 2 pkg. chopped spinach (frozen)
  • 2 c. sharp cheese, grated
  • 1 can chicken mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. cream
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1 pkg. slivered almonds
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 c. cracker crumbs

Directions

    Heat and drain spinach; add butter, cheese, eggs, soup, mayonnaise, milk and water chestnuts.

    Place in a greased casserole.

    Saute cracker crumbs with butter.

    Pour over mixture. Sprinkle with almonds.

    Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
