Spinach Casserole

  • 1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1 c. mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 c. onions, chopped
  • 2 to 3 c. Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 or 2 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Brown and drain ground beef.

    Add onions; cook until onions are transparent.

    Add mushrooms, seasonings and thawed spinach. Cook until spinach is warmed through.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in soup and sour cream.

    Place in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Top with cheese; bake at 400° until cheese is bubbling.

    Serve over noodles or rice.
