Spinach Dip

  • 10 ounces spinach, thawed and drained
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 6 ounces water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 4 -5 green onions, chopped
  • 1 58 ounces vegetable soup mix
  • 1 lb Hawaiian bread

Directions

    Combine spinach, sour cream, mayonnaise, water chestnuts, green onions, and soup mix in a medium mixing bowl, stirring well.

    Cover and chill at least 6 hours.

    Using a gentle sawing motion, cut vertically to, but not through, bottom of loaf, 1/2 inch from edge.

    Lift out center of loaf and cut bread into 1 inch cubes and set aside.

    Fill hollowed bread loaf with dip and serve with bread cubes.
