Spinach Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound beef ground
  • 1/2 cup onions chopped
  • 1 each eggs
  • 1/4 cup parmesan, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated grated
  • 1 each spinach frozen package, chopped, thawed, drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup vegetable stock or chicken or beef
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup wine dry, red
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Directions

    Mix all ingredients, form small balls, place in 1 1/2 qt casserole.

    Mix broth, tomato sauce, wine and cornstarch.

    Pour over meatballs.

    Bake covered in 350F (180C) oven for 40 to 60 minutes.

    Can be served over noodles, or great for parties served in crockpot.
