  • 1/4 cup blanched slivered almonds
  • 1/4 cup grated parmigiano regiano
  • 1 garlic clove
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups packed spinach
  • 1 cup packed basil
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Directions

    In a food processor, pulse almonds, cheese, garlic, salt (1/2 teaspoon), and a pinch of pepper until uniform. Add spinach and basil and continue pulsing until chopped. With machine running, slowly add 1/2 cup olive oil, scraping down sides of machine if necessary.
