Spinach Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 heads lettuce or spinach
  • 1 small pkg. Chinese noodles
  • 1 pkg. slivered almonds
  • 1 Tbsp. poppy seed
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 1/4 c. sesame seed
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 4 Tbsp. vinegar

Directions

    Brown the sesame seed

    and almonds in the oven at 350°.

    (Watch closely as they brown easily.)

    Chop the lettuce and green onions together.

    Shake the poppy seed, salad oil, sugar, pepper, salt and vinegar in a jar.

    Toss with the greens.

    Garnish with the sesame seed and almonds.
