  • 1/2 c. dark vinegar
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. catsup
  • 2 lb. spinach

    Brown bacon until crisp.

    Combine salad oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and catsup.

    Put in blender.

    Pour over spinach.

    Crumble bacon over top.

    May also add water chestnuts, hard-boiled eggs and red onions to salad.
