- 1/2 to 3/4 c. yellow (or green) split peas
- 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 can Campbell's Cheddar cheese soup (undiluted)
- 1/2 c. beer
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Directions

1Cook split peas until tender, about 20 minutes.

2Drain and set aside.

3Melt butter in a saucepan; add onion and cook until brown. Stir in soup, beer, Worcestershire and mustard.

4Blend; stir in peas and cook until peas are hot.

5Serve over toast.
