- 1 pkg. green split peas
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 stem celery
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 1 potato, diced
- 1 pork shoulder butt
Directions

1Cube pork shoulder butt and place in large pot with about 2 quarts water.

2Place onion, celery, carrot and potato in blender with a little water.

3Blend and pour in pot with pork.

4Rinse split peas and add to pot.

5Season with salt and pepper.

6Cover and simmer for about 3 to 4 hours.
