- 3 smoked ham hocks
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 or 4 carrots, sliced
- 2 potatoes, cubed
- 8 oz. bag dry split peas
- 1 can baby peas
Directions

1Cook ham hocks in Dutch oven over low to medium heat until hot. Reduce heat to low for 2 hours. Add onion, carrots and potatoes and enough water to fill pot about 3/4 full. Cook 1 hour. Add peas and cook 1/2 hour or until dry peas are done. Serve with cornbread.
