- 1 can (10 1/2 oz.) condensed cream of chicken or mushroom soup
- 1/2 soup can milk
- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 eggs, separated
Directions

1Stir soup until smooth and gradually blend in milk.

2Add cornmeal and cook until thickened, stirring all the while.

3Add butter and remove from heat.

4Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored; stir into mixture.

5Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry and fold into mixture.

6Pour into buttered 1-quart casserole. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until golden brown.

7Serve with butter and/or syrup.
