- 2 lb. butternut squash
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 cooking apples
- 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. mace
Directions

1Cut apples into 1/2 inch slices.

2Cut each squash in half lengthwise and remove seeds.

3Peel squash and cut into 1/2 inch slices.

4Arrange in a lightly greased 13 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish and top with apples.

5Combine remaining ingredients, mixing well. Spoon over apple slices.

6Cover tightly and bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until squash is tender.
