- 1 3/4 lb. acorn squash
- 2 medium cooking apples
- lemon juice
- dash of ground cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. low or reduced calorie pancake syrup
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Cut squash into 1/2-inch thick round slices.

3Core apples.

4Cut into 1/2-inch thick slices.

5Brush apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.

6In a 1-quart casserole dish, layer squash and apples.

7Sprinkle with cinnamon (2 tablespoons of raisins can be added, if desired).

8Bake covered at 350° for 50 minutes or until squash is tender.

9Before serving, drizzle with the 2 tablespoons syrup.
