Squash Casserole

  • 1 1/2 lb. squash
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1/4 c. canned cream
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 roll crushed Ritz crackers
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Cook squash and a large onion in a pot.

    Try not to put any water in the pot.

    Let it steam down.

    Pour into a casserole dish and top with sliced cheese.

    Place cracker crumbs (Town House) on top of the cheese and put a few pats of margarine on top.

    Bake until cheese melts.
