- 2 c. shredded American cheese
- 1 stick butter
- 1 pkg. saltine crackers, crumbled
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- about 8 small squash
Directions

1Fry ground beef and drain.

2Boil squash until tender.

3Don't overcook.

4Drain.

5Simmer bell pepper and onion until tender. Layer in order listed in large baking dish the ground beef, soup, squash, onion, pepper, sour cream and shredded cheese.

6Mix butter and crackers and put on top.

7Bake at 350° until bubbles.
