- 3 lb. yellow squash or 2 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. corn meal
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 bell pepper (medium), diced
- 1 c. cream of mushroom soup
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 c. grated cheese
- 2 tsp. sage or poultry seasoning
Directions

1Cut up unpeeled squash.

2Cook until tender; drain and mash. Add margarine and mix well.

3Add all other ingredients.

4Mix well. Pour into casserole dish and bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
