- 1 can mushroom soup
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. butter

- 1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
Directions

1Stew squash and onions until tender enough to mash. Add salt and pepper. In 1 1/2-quart casserole, alternate layers of squash, cracker crumbs and soup. Bake at 400° until top browns. Sprinkle cheese on top.
