- 1 1/2 lb. squash
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- 2 medium onions, chopped fine
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. stuffing (bread crumbs)
- 1 stick margarine
Directions

1Melt margarine and add stuffing mix and put about 3/4 stuffing mix into 2-quart pan.

2Cook squash until tender (steam).

3Mix squash with sour cream, onions, soup and water chestnuts.

4Layer squash mixture on top of stuffing.

5Sprinkle remaining stuffing on top.

6Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
