Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. grated cheese
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 lb. squash (can use canned or frozen)
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 20 saltine crackers
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Cook squash until tender.

    Drain and mash.

    Add butter, milk, crushed crackers, beaten egg, salt and pepper.

    Pour into greased casserole dish.

    Sprinkle cheese over top.

    Cook for 25 minutes in 425° oven (tastes like oyster stew).
