- 1/2 c. grated cheese
- 1 c. milk
- 1 lb. squash (can use canned or frozen)
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper to taste
- 20 saltine crackers
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Cook squash until tender.

2Drain and mash.

3Add butter, milk, crushed crackers, beaten egg, salt and pepper.

4Pour into greased casserole dish.

5Sprinkle cheese over top.

6Cook for 25 minutes in 425° oven (tastes like oyster stew).
