Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 c. cooked yellow squash
  • 1 c. herb seasoned bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. onion flakes or 1 Tbsp. fresh onion
  • 1 c. shredded cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

Directions

    Have squash hot.

    Add butter, salt and pepper.

    Add soup; do not dilute.

    Add onion flakes and 1/2 cup herbed crumbs (I use Pepperidge Farm).

    Add cheese.

    Top with rest of crumbs.

    Bake at 325° until bubbly.
