- 1 (28 oz.) can cut squash, drained, or 1 1/2 pt. fresh squash, cooked
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 2 eggs
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. bread crumbs, buttered
- 1/2 c. grated cheese
Directions

1Mix squash, onion, margarine, eggs, salt and pepper in buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.

2Cook for 20 minutes at 350°. Remove from oven and sprinkle grated cheese and bread crumbs on top.

3Return to oven and continue cooking until well browned, 10 to 15 minutes.
