Squash Casserole

  • 1 (28 oz.) can cut squash, drained, or 1 1/2 pt. fresh squash, cooked
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. bread crumbs, buttered
  • 1/2 c. grated cheese

Directions

    Mix squash, onion, margarine, eggs, salt and pepper in buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.

    Cook for 20 minutes at 350°. Remove from oven and sprinkle grated cheese and bread crumbs on top.

    Return to oven and continue cooking until well browned, 10 to 15 minutes.
