Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 8 small squash
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. buttered breadcrumbs

Directions

    Boil squash and onion until tender; drain and mash.

    Stir in remaining ingredients except breadcrumbs.

    Pour into 1 1/2-quart baking dish; top with breadcrumbs.

    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. You may want to substitute breadcrumbs for cracker crumbs.
