Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. squash
  • 5 soda crackers, crushed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. grated cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Wash and cut squash in 1/4-inch slices crosswise.

    Add onion and cook together until tender in small amount of water.

    Drain and add crackers, beaten egg, cheese, soup, salt and pepper to taste.

    Pour mixture into greased baking dish and bake at 350° until brown.
