Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. yellow squash
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium carrot, grated (optional for color)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Pepperidge Farm dressing
  • 1/4 lb. butter

Directions

    Slice and parboil squash.

    Drain.

    Mix soup, sour cream, onion, carrot, salt and pepper with squash.

    Mix dressing and melted butter. Place 3/4 of dressing in pan.

    Put squash mixture on top.

    Top with remaining dressing.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
