- 2 lb. summer squash
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 stick butter or oleo
- 1 pkg. herb dressing
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
- 1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
Directions

1Cook squash, onion and salt in small amount of water until tender.

2Add cream of chicken soup, sour cream and water chestnuts.

3Melt butter or oleo and mix herb dressing together. Put 1/2 of herb dressing in bottom of baking dish.

4Add squash mixture.

5Cover with remaining dressing.

6Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.
