Ingredients

  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 c. butter or oleo, softened
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 2 c. yellow squash, cooked and drained well
  • 3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs, seasoned with dash of salt, pepper and sage

Directions

    Combine all ingredients except buttered bread crumbs.

    Place in a greased casserole dish; top with buttered bread crumbs and bake at 300° for 25 to 30 minutes.
