Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 cans squash, drained, or freshly boiled squash
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, grated (optional)
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Pepperidge Farm corn bread stuffing
  • 1 small can water chestnuts (optional)

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together, except stuffing and margarine. Mix stuffing with melted butter.

    Put 1 cup of stuffing in bottom of buttered 2-quart casserole dish.

    Top with squash mixture.

    Add remaining stuffing mixture to top.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
