- 5 to 6 squash
- 1/2 stick oleo
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
- 1/2 c. water chestnuts
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Boil the squash until tender. Drain liquid and mash. Saute the onion, bell pepper and water chestnuts in the oleo.

2Fold in the cheese, mayonnaise, sugar, egg and salt and pepper to taste.

3Pour in casserole dish sprayed with Pam.

4Sprinkle bread crumbs on top and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
