- 2 lb. yellow squash, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. grated sharp cheese
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/3 stick butter or margarine
- dash of poultry seasoning (1/8 tsp.)
- bread crumbs or stuffing mix (enough for covering top of 1 1/2-quart casserole dish)
Directions

1Cook squash and onion in small amount of salted water.

2Drain, mash, then add margarine. Add egg, milk and cheese to squash. Place all in 1 1/2-quart casserole. Top with crumbs or mix.

3Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until crumbs are browned and mixture bubbly.
