- 1 stick butter
- 2 c. fresh squash, chopped
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- 2 c. cornbread or 23 frozen hush puppies
- 2 eggs
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 tsp. celery salt
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Saute squash and onion in butter until tender.

3Onion will be clear.

4Use a potato masher or fork to mash up squash and onion mixture.

5Crumble cornbread or hush puppies in the food processor.

6Add egg, cornbread, soup and spices to the squash mixture.

7Mix thoroughly.

8Place in 13 x 9-inch Pyrex dish. Bake, uncovered 20 - 25 min.

9Serves 4 - 6.
