Squash Dressing Casserole

  • 1 pkg. cornbread mix, cooked
  • 2 lb. yellow squash, seasoned and cooked (drain and mash)
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 c. onion, sauteed
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 Tbsp. sage
  • 1 c. shredded cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Crumble cornbread into milk.

    Mix all ingredients, except cheese.

    Pour into prepared casserole dish.

    Sprinkle cheese on top and bake 1 hour in 350° oven.
