- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. vinegar
- 8 c. sliced squash
- 3 or 4 bell peppers, cut up
- 3 or 4 onions, cut up
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. turmeric
Directions

1Soak squash in ice water with 1/3 salt for 2 hours.

2Drain squash well.

3Bring other ingredients to a boil.

4Put squash in and boil for 3 minutes.

5Put in jars and seal.

6Makes 3 or 4 pints.
