- 4 qt. yellow squash
- 6 onions, sliced
- 2 green bell peppers
- 1 red bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
- 1/2 c. salt
- ice cubes
Directions

1Slice squash 1/2-inch thick, then add onions, peppers and garlic.

2Cover with salt and ice; mix and let stand for 3 hours. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over drained squash mixture. Heat just to boiling and put in jar and seal.
