  • 1 1/4 c. cooked and strained squash
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Mix sugar and spices.

    Add squash, slightly beaten eggs and milk gradually.

    Pour mixture into an unbaked 9-inch pie crust and bake at 450° for 10 minutes to set the rim.

    Turn oven down to 350° and finish baking for about 1 hour or until a knife comes out clean.
