Ingredients

  • 8 yellow squash, chopped fine
  • 2 large onions
  • 2 c. green pepper
  • 1 red hot pepper
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. mustard seed
  • 2 tsp. celery seed

Directions

    Cut all vegetables in small pieces or grind.

    Soak in 1/2 gallon water and 3/4 cup salt for 1 hour.

    After soaking, drain well and dry on towel.

    Combine sugar, vinegar, mustard seed and celery seed in saucepan; let come to a boil.

    Add vegetables; let come to a boil.

    Pack in glass jars and seal.
