- 2 red peppers
- 2 green peppers
- 2 1/4 c. vinegar
- 5 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. turmeric
- 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 10 c. squash
- 4 c. onions
Directions

1Mix squash and onions.

2Stir in 5 tablespoons of salt.

3Let soak overnight.

4In morning, drain and rinse off.

5Put in large kettle.

6Add all ingredients.

7Cook 1/2 hour and put in jars. Really good.
