- 10 c. squash, grated
- 2 c. onion, chopped
- 4 bell peppers, chopped
- 2 hot peppers (optional)
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 c. white vinegar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 tsp. turmeric
Directions

1Mix together squash, onion, peppers and salt.

2Let set 1 hour. Drain.

3Bring to boil the sugar, vinegar, celery, mustard and turmeric.

4Add squash mixture to syrup.

5Cook 10 minutes after coming back to boil.

6Can put in hot jars and seal or let cool and put in plastic freezer boxes and freeze.
