  • 12 c. grated squash
  • 4 c. chopped onion
  • 3 to 4 sweet bell peppers (can use one red for color)
  • 2 hot jalapeno peppers
  • 5 Tbsp. canning salt
  • 2 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 2 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. turmeric
  • 4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. pickling spice, secured in cloth
