Starlight Double Delight Cake

   Combine the shortening and frosting mixture thoroughly.

   Blend in one egg at a time; beat for 1 minute.

   Sift together the flour, soda and salt; add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.

   Blend thoroughly after each addition.

   Pour into 2 well-greased and lightly floured 9-inch round cake pans.

   Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes (9 x 13-inch pan for 45 to 55 minutes).

   Cool; frost with remaining Chocolate Frosting.
