- 1/2 lb. tenderized round steak
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Directions

1Cut steak in serving size pieces.

2In skillet, brown steak in shortening.

3Pour off excess fat.

4Remove steak from pan.

5In same pan add margarine and soup.

6Stir until blended.

7Return steak to pan with sauce and cover.

8Cook on low heat until steak is tender, (to your taste), about 30 minutes.

9Makes 4 to 6 servings.
